Registration opens two (2) weeks before beginning of classes every semester/or as announced, and closes on the day regular classes begin.
A student is officially enrolled only after he/she has paid in full or has made arrangement for payment on installment basis the tuition and other fees for the entire semester or school year, and has completed the enrolment process.
Certificate of Registration must have been validated by the Enrolling Officer for a student to be considered officially enrolled.
Care should be exercised specially with pre-requisite courses. Any subject not listed in the Certificate of Registration is not officially enrolled and will not be given credit, even if an instructor may have given a student permission to attend the subject for which a grade may have been earned.
All freshmen college students are required to enroll in one component of the NSTP program for two consecutive semesters.
The regular academic load for each student every semester is prescribed in the respective curriculum of all courses printed in the catalogue. Any deviation from the prescribed load should have the prior approval of the Dean and the University Registrar. PLEASE SEE DETAILED ENROLLMENT FLOW FOR TRANSFEREES
A graduating student, both in secondary and tertiary level may be permitted, upon the discretion of the school, an additional subject load of not more than two subjects and six academic units respectively, in excess of the normal load specified by the school for the school or term. (Sec 92, 2008 MORPHE). Application for overload will be acted upon on a case to case basis only.
A student may be allowed to withdraw from a course during the first half of the semester, provided he must apply for it in the required form to be secured from the Office of the Program Coordinator and must be duly approved by the Academic Director. Thus he/she will be given a mark of “Withdraw”.
A student may, with the approval of the Dean and/or Academic Director, change course or curriculum. He should apply for such change by processing the application form for adjustment of enrolment.
No student may enroll simultaneously in two schools without prior approval of the University Registrar and recommendation of the Dean. Violation of this rule will cancel the student’s right to credit units earned in either or both schools.
Cross enrolment is discouraged. However, for valid reasons as determined, and with the prior written authority of the school the student is regularly enrolled in, he may be permitted to cross enroll in another school up to the normal subject load for that particular term. (Section 93, 2008 MORPHE)
Permission for cross-enrolment is issued by the University Registrar upon recommendation of the Dean concerned.
1. Cross enrolment is granted if the applicant is a candidate for graduation during the semester and if the subject requested for graduation is not offered during that semester in the College or when it is in conflict with other subjects.
2. Cross enrolment may be granted to non- graduating students on a case-to-case basis subject to the approval of the Dean.
